Carrickfergus Parkrun

Who we are:

Carrickfergus parkrun: a weekly, FREE, timed 5k walk/jog/run, starts at 9.30 am at the Amphitheatre Wellness Centre (near the BMX park). Anyone can enter, though under 11's MUST be accompanied all the way around.

Simply register - for free - at http://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/, print your barcode and bring with you. No catch, no sharing of info or spamming - ever! It's NOT a race, it's a community run, we encourage everyone to get up and exercise. Run if you want, jog if you want, or walk - it's a healthy start to Saturday! Volunteer led, we always welcome new volunteers. Spare an hour on a Saturday, help with marshalling (directing folk around the course at the Amphitheatre or in Shaftesbury Park), or the technical stuff of timekeeping. Great fun, and a great environment!
